Like you, our first impressions of Yon were from his testimonials, so we knew going in that our experience with him would be great! But as the details for our intricate double-ceremony, Catholic/Hindu wedding day started to come together, we started to get lost in the details ourselves, and that added in a dose of anxiety that I’m sure any wedding planner can relate to. As our big day approached, Yon fully eased our minds with his professionalism, candor, and confidence.
Our Indian ceremony was a fully scripted event with an associated track list, and various timing-dependent transitions, and Yon nailed EVERY SINGLE ONE. The event was flawless, and my husband and I were able to really enjoy each moment without any technical difficulties.
The reception was even better with Yon as the host. We felt that his key strength here were his flexibility to handle requests and pace the songs in a way that kept the dance floor packed until the end of the night. We had specific songs we wanted to play and handed them over to him in the form of Spotify playlists (which is outside of his regular system), and he graciously accepted that format.
